BUSINESS SKILLS TRAINING PROJECT 2021
The fourth project that Kisiwani has implemented in 2021 was “Business Skills Training” conducted for jobless refugees returning from Dadaab Refugee Camp and relevant host community members in Mogadishu.
The project’s objectives were to train the beneficiaries in the management of macro-businesses on a very small scale, and then grant them a start-up fund of $500 to each student who successfully completes the course. The components of the course were the 4 universal Business Management: –
1)Financial Management 2) Business Planning 3) Book-Keeping 4) Marketing Skills.
In brief, the course was tailored to suit the prospective entrepreneurs to set-set up and manage their small businesses, gain the necessary skills to run the business smoothly, make profits, avoid losses and then grow steadily.
